Answer #1

Community based correction programs helps a lot in reducing recidivism as it directly has a change in the person's action. Because everyone is not doing the crime just for fun or enjoyment, they are doing it as they don't get that much salary in doing other works, so the person just do it make their family live without much struggle. If he is given a chance for change, he won't change until he feels that his own people are feeling bad for him and his work, so that he will change himself for them and lead a normal life.

Thus community based correction programs help a lot people by explaining their situation in his surroundings and society, so that he understands his mistake and make changes to get out his criminal activity and lead a normal life.
