Resisting Movements of Natives Indians- There is a long and inspiring history of Native American resistance to the European invasion, occupation and desecration of their lands. Within the many strands of indigenous resistance throughout the entire landmass of North, Central and South America. Native American resistance occurred throughout the centuries and continuous at present. Here are some reasons which describe the resistance of Native Americans-
1- Indigenous Tribes are diverse, with different languages, traditions and cultures.
2- The resurgence of 1960s and 1970s represented a new degree of unity, as new organizations, protests, occupations and various facts of sovereignty took place all over the country.
3- The effects of films, news, political interventions and active participations in movements created a new approach of resistance.
I think the political and cultural approaches are influencing the new era of resistance, people of America experiencing diversity but on the other hand participation in Government authorities, political interventions and cultural engagement in diverse native culture by non-natives creating an ideology in native Indians creating the strong resistance.
The engagement in crime, lack of education, cultural, social and economic difference fuelling the resistance movements.
