Recall your own attributions for academic failures when in elementary school

Homework Answers

Answer #1

In school if we score bad marks or fail we tend to attribute it to external factors like teacher’s mood while checking the paper was’nt good hence she gave low marks or it was just bad luck . Incase we score good and top the class we tend to attribute it to our own harwork and intelligence . For example we say - “ i scored good because of my own hard work “.

When we attribute to internal causes it is called internal attribution error and when we attribute to external causes it is called as external atteibution error.
