Gender identity is very essential in the period of adolescenceThe main is the gender identity than any other changes they go through. For example boys will try to dress up more attractively to look manly, take decisions to show their authority either in school or home, take part in all activites, join clubs that boost thier self esteem. The girls would look to dress more attractive, become very conscious of their status in school or home, take on roles in school and home in a nurturing manner. They develop moral reasoning and social inclusion at this stage. The question of self identity is often raised in this period.Gender stereo type behaviours are elevated at this stage.
