The Congress of the Untied States is the legislative branch of the Federal government. The primary duty of Congress is to write, debate, and pass bills. It comprises of two chambers, namely the Senate and the House of Representatives. There are a total 435 Representatives in Congress, split between the states based on the state’s population. There also on 100 Senators in Congress, with two coming from each state. The Congress meets in the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C.
