Answer #1

Caribbean economy lacks a good industrial infrastructure which could limit the widespread poverty and unemployment, and curb the many social problem in the Caribbean society. Caribbean islands are blessed with natural beauty and developing sensible tourism would provide employment and will help in eradicating poverty. This could also be a boon to agricultural sector if the hotels purchase local agricultural products. Also the service sector would be benefitted by it as tourism requires number of services from this sector. Thus, opening up new avenues for jobs and eradication of poverty will remove the social problems as crime rates would decline and also the other problems that the society is facing today.
