The FBI annual report “Crime in the United States” published in 2015 and this publication provided large amount of crime data in the country.
According to the report, the crime rate has increased in past few years and the statistics show the estimated rate of violent crime was 372.6 offences per 100,000 inhabitant. The violent crime rate rose 3.01 percent compared with last years. The recent data of crime says that the rate of crime is growing rapidly in the country, here we will discuss abut some specific crime using arrest data and various factors of criminal activities.
1 Organised Crime- The Organised crime in USA has taken on an increasingly transnational nature and threaten internal security, more open borders and expansion of internet, criminal endangered united states not only from within the borders, but beyond. The national security front, experts and policy makers have expressed concern over a possible nexus between organised crime and terrorism. Organised crime could weaken the economy with illegal activities such as narcotics trafficking and tax evasion scams.
