Subject:EC230/EEC2225 Section 1 Guiding children's behavior. But I chose psychology to be easy. I need this answer by today.
The experiences people have when they are young, often shape their views when they become adults. For this discussion, reflect upon your own experiences as a child. How do you think your parents'/guardians' views shaped your own view of parental involvement/relationships/guidance as it relates to your role as a current or future ECE professional? Below are a few questions to help guide your reflection: When you were growing up, how involved, if at all, were your parents/guardians in your education? Did they volunteer at your school? Did they steer clear of it? Were you aware of how your parents viewed school, in general? Did they value it? How did you know? What were their views on guidance practices at home or at school? How did your parent's views on guidance affect your views now on child guidance?
My parents were positively involved in my education . They granted me freedom to take my decision while doing homework and deciding my interests. They never reprimanded in excess fir my failure rather supported me to comeback strong. They did not performed my homework rather assisted me in developing skills and ability.
They were very selective in choosing my school and always looked at it in positive manner.
As an ece professional , these all helped me develop a confident approach towards problem solving. I guide my juniors in same way of assisting them in Thier attempts , not reprimanding unnecessarily for small mistakes as they are necessary to learn .
I also provide a adequate degree of freedom to them to innovate and being creative.
My parents views have great influence on my child guidance . I think a child must not be spoon deeded everything rather he must be left to learn from herself, by making mistake and then correcting it by own.
