Describe developmentally appropriate learning experiences and explain why they are important for all children.

Children go through different stages of development through early childhood. It includes, cognitive development like, emotions, intelligence, aptitude, attitude, morality and etcetera. Children mostly learn through observation, classical conditioning or operant conditioning. It is important that children have appropriate learning experiences in school and at home. These learning experiences shape one's adult personality. For instance, a child grows up seeing his father being an alcoholic, comes home drunk and has physical fights with his mother. The child's adult personality would be either very aggressive like that of his father or he would be very submissive and into his shell because he does not want to be like his father. It is very important that a child has appropriate learning experiences in childhood as it otherwise affects one's adult personality.
