Literary movement other than realism focused on the high language which focused on the life of the high class people. They focused on mystery and history. Realism came as a common man’s rescue which depicted the life of ordinary people and spoke the language of the common people. Realism in America was very similar to the Victorian Literature where William Wordsworth introduced the common man’s language. Arts, literature and other creative works focused on depicting life as it is.
