I think the answer is (c).

Yes there are some houses where there is gender inequality seen even in upbringing the child. But when it comes to religious participation, I believe mother's participation is associated with sons as well as daughters equally.

It is seen that a girl child is refrained from attending parties, but she has to follow the religious beliefs and also attend religious ceremonies. Similarly, a boy child may be pampered and his wishes always fulfilled,but his wish to skip some religious ceremony is never fulfilled. Hence, answer (c) seems correct.
