It’s false that according to Vannevar Bush's "Science The Endless Frontier", did he argue that the U.S. should focus on technical applications and allow other countries to develop new basic scientific knowledge.

Vannevar Bush brings out the importance of providing scholarships and support to the nation’s youngsters to become better scientists because as the world progresses, he suggests that only nations that are scientifically strong would be able to innovate and invent solutions to the problems the society faces. He expects America to become the leader in science and technology. He also suggest that those who are in the armed services should also be provided enough opportunity to gain scientific knowledge.
