The elimination of discrimination would be more socially significant. Its the natural inherent trait of humans to classify people and objects. Discrimination is the worst form of this categorization tendency. The difficulty to accept people who are different in their culture, history, traditions etc and the fear that they pose to one's way of life has led to discrimination.
This difficulty and fear for diversity has to led to negative generalizations and emotions towards other who are different, are called prejudices. This prejudices leads to consider oneself and one's culture to superior and others to be inferior.
So, when there is no discrimination,it will ultimately result in the elimination of prejudice too.
