Answer #1

Effect size is simply a way of quantifying the size of the difference between two groups. It is particularly valuable for quantifying the effectiveness of a particular intervention, relative to some comparison. Effect size helps theresearcher to understand how much of changes in seconf variable are results of the first variable. It focuses on looking at the extent of effect of variables on each other.

For eg- If i study the effect of stress on anxiety and the value of effect size is 0.8 then it means taht 80% of times anindividual with high stress is anxious too.
