Independent Variables- independent variables are kind of variables which can be manipulate by researcher and whose effects the researcher interested.

In your research, amount of time on social media because a researcher can increase or reduce the time and control the time limit to get the proper response in research.

Dependent Variables- The researcher willing to find the effects of independent variable on some conditions, these condition or values called dependent variables.

In your research, the researcher want to find the effects of time on the grades to the Grades are dependent variable, because it control by amount of time in social media.
