Suppose that you wanted to teach a young child to discriminate between the letter N and the letter M. How would you do this using an errorless learning approach?
Errorless learning is an approach that is taken with people who have a functioning and memory and/ cognitive problem, it aids them in learning certain things as opposed to the common trial and error technique, which is tough for them to circumvent.
In order to make a child learn to discriminate between N and M, first we will make the child engage in solving it collaboratively with someone with patience. Then provide him/her with adequate cues to help navigate through the letters. The latter part would include loads and loads of practice and repetition of the task in order to help set in the differentiation.
