What questions on the urban setting are more likely to be addressed using quantitative data? What questions on the urban setting are more likely to be addressed using qualitative data?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Questions that involve numerical data and statistical information with respect to urban settings can be addressed using quantitative data. These can include the population details of the area, literacy rates, import/export of products and the like. On the other hand, qualitative data is more appropriate in cases of investigating variables that cannot be numerically represented. Some examples are quality of life of the citizens, problems of crime, treatment of senior citizens etc.
