Answer #1

During adolescence one important aspect that shines out with respect to structural and functional changes in the brain is the heightened sensitivity of the reward system, which creates a heightened drive as well.

We all have experienced a penchant for impulsively when met with a teenager, this for the mere reason that the reward systems heightened activation either makes them quite ambitious or quite impulsive.

Another thing that is developing and more so at this stage is the social brain of a teenager. The key factor that develops and chiseled during this stage is the social cognition of the young adults.

The hormonal and biochemical changes are at their peak as well, which make teenagers far more hyper on the spectrum of emotions as opposed to children or adults.
