Self deception is where one convinced that it is the truth and overlook the lies.Self deception is followed by everybody in their daily lives.For example we lie to ourselves certain things to make us feel good and satisfy our ego.We lie to ourselves denying certain facts.We keep telling ourselves we are thin eventhough we are not.This thought could be considered positive as it eliminates low self esteem in a person.When we lie that others look beautiful or keep praising them for our own benefit it could be considered negative as it is a selfcentered approach to something.At certain times self deception is considered positive as the truth at all times is bitter to accept and it may hurt the feelings of the other person.
