Conference service demands for a university student cater to the needs of the guests. I reckon, its a great opportunity to not only do a summer job while representing one's university, however, it also offers immense learning. Serving on the summer conference staff helps you boost your self confidence. It is an opportunity to practice customer service, organizational skills, planning, assertiveness and etcetera. I have always wanted to take up a job which needs communication skills, planning and organizing. This seems apt because I get to learn so much from my colleagues while I also have fun at work. The above are the reasons why I wanted to serve on the summer conference staff.
