de Jure are the practices that would be describing the practices that are recognised legally, even if the practices may not be there in reality, or if they exist in reality. Whereas, de facto is also referred to as in practice or in fact, high would be existing in reality, though these situations may not be recognised legally.

The de facto differences or the de facto segregation’s were present since there were voluntary associations along with the neighbourhood. Whereas, the de jure segregatio. Is a segregation that is present as a result of the laws, locally, that have been employed, which mandate such segregation’s. These laws may or may not pertain to actual situations.
