Explain the rationale for experimental ablation studies
One of the most important reasons for experimental ablation studies is that it would provide scientist and medical professional with the idea of what would happen if certain brain parts are removed. This would mean that there are many parts in the brain and each one is responsible for a particular function. Removing it would end up in the loss of that function. Secondly, it would help the medical professionals in diagnosing human beings with the loss of certain brain functions easily and apply appropriate treatments. Experimental ablation studies are conducted only on animals in order to gain better understanding about the brain and its functions.
