Since there physical chnges the teen is into confued state, there is harmonal change also which leads to identity crisis. Erikson clims that individual may intially feel uncomfortable about the physical change but later on adapt to it.

In the last stage genital stage, the onset of pubert causes libido to become active.During this stage the person exibits strong sexual intrest in the opposite sex. The genitals are the primary source of pleasure, Freus emphasized the development in early stages often reflect development in this stage.
