Distinguish between the concepts of deregulation, legalization and decriminalization and given an example of each. Do you favor one over the other? Support your answer.

Legalization means that when one commodity of service is legalized it holds an individual no longer liable to have that thing in possession, it is not illegal for one to possess that anymore, it enjoys normal status in the given country/state.

Legalization also is used to destroy the black cartel that is formulated around these illegal commodities. Cannabis has been legalized in Alaska.

Decriminalization is not that the possession of the good makes an individual exempted from punishment, but it means that small amounts of possession does not insinuate the person being taken down as a criminal, but the larger amounts can.

Jamaica has decriminalized Cannabis.

Deregulation is when a certain something is not regulated anymore and not held under restriction. Personal responsibility is something that this ideal attempts to inculcate. It leads to the reduction or elimination of the power or hold of the government on certain industries. For instance, there are talks for deregulation of medical marijuana for soldiers in pain.
