Do you feel that the Scapegoat Theory Theory is still relevant in the U.S. today? Why?
The scapegoat theory is based on the premise that it is easier to blame a second individual/party as opposed to blaming self or that part that the self associates with.
If we look at this theory from the lens of the United States of America, we can see that this theory is still exercised well in proliferation today as well, especially after the election of Donal Trump as the president of The USA. The use of this theory and the effects of this theory can be well seen in his speeches and his regulation and laws that he attempts to pass or has passed in the past.
Scapegoat theory is a theory of prejudice, and it holds accountable the people who generally are not responsible for the cause of certain state predicaments, but due to sweeping generalizations they are help accountable.
