In depression; there is loss of interests in things. Patient of depression feels sadness. His mood remains low most of the time.

Borderline personality disorder is a fatal mental illness. It is being remarked by continuous pattern of mood changes. Here self image and behaviour also changes with drastic effects. All these causes impulsive actions. This condition causes major problems in relationships.

Social phobia is also known as Social Anxiety Disorder. It is the intense fear of social interaction. Here the patient avoid social situations. It is a long lasting mental problem.

As it is clear that Nicholas is showing clear aversion of social interaction. He has lost interests in most of the things. His relationships are not going in well manner. All these may lead to his social isolation. He is suffering from impulsive actions.
