Food deserts, are areas with low-income residents, having limited access to affordable and nutritious food can lead to higher rates of obesity in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods. The social class which is based on the financial status and level of education represents the additional contributing factors in these communities because people who are poor cannot afford healthy food and neither they are aware of the consequences of eating unhealthy food due to lack of education and poverty has its own culture.
