Assimilation is one method through which the minority groups start to adopt the majority group’s way of life thus reducing conflicts. Most of the time, over a period of time, minority groups learn the culture and practices of the majority in order to avoid conflicts and create synergy in society.

Pluralism is yet another method by which diverse groups and political ideologies co-exist without much trouble. Most of the countries protect the rights of the minorities through the constitution thus making co-existence much easier.
