Heinz experiment is a famous moral thought experiment by the Heinz Dilemma, that is strives to tell us about a person's moral development.

The question posed is this:

Heinz's wife is dying and there is a medicine that can cure her which costs $2000. Heinz only has $1000 which covers the costs of the pharmacist who makes the medicine. But the pharmacist insists that he discovered the cure and that he will charge what he wants for it,under these circumstances should Heinz steal the medicine, or shouldn't he?

On asking these questions to a number of people following answers were obtained:

5 year olds: Stealing is wrong. We shouldnt steal.

16-19 year olds: Relationships are important. He should be a good husband. Its ok to steal.
