Should psychopaths be eligible for the insanity defense if they commit a crime? Why or why not?​

Behaviours of psychopaths are due to mental disorder.But their condition alone is not sufficient to get insanity defence because psychopaths show manipulative and lying behavior. They may be highly dangerous and threat to the society.

Due to their lack of sense of morality and right or wrong.They do not feel any guilt after doing any criminal activities.

Most of the psychopaths are serial killers, murderers,child and sex abusers etc.

Hence, despite of their mental illness they should treated as normal criminal.

Due to their manipulative nature they can easily harm other mental patients. Hence they should kept in separate isolation ward.
