Answer #1

The hedonic principle of motivation explains that individuals strive towards achieving a goal or move away from a threat depending on their pleasure and pain receptors. According ot this principle, one's emotions play a role in being motivated. The emotional experience serves as a gauge towards motivation. The more good one feels in getting something or doing anything, the more motivated he will remain. The more bad he feels about doing something the less motivated he will be.
