Ethos, Pathos, and Logos are modes of persuasion used to convince audiences. They are explained in detail:

Ethos is an appeal to ethics. It depends on credibility and expertise as persuasive techniques. For example: Nine out of ten dentists recommend this toothpaste.

Pathos is an appeal using emotion. It creates an emotional response to convince the audience. For example: If we don't adopt the puppy, he may never find home.

Logos is an appeal to logic. It depends upon logic and facts to persuade teh audience. For example: If you do not compelete your homework, your grades will suffer.
