Answer #1

Answer is as follows:

Yes,Nike's website is ready to handle the demand that our marketing initiatives will create .Nike’s excellence marketing strategies are their energy to achieve their market goals.Nike produces a wide range of sports equipments such as running shoes, sportswear, football, basketball, tennis, golf, etc.Nike believes the “pyramid influence” that the preferences of a small percentage of top athletes influence the product and brand choice. For instance, recently Nike  teams up with Apple Company to produce the Nike+ products where they advance the quality of the shoe through a radio that link  to the iPods for monitoing the runner's performance. With investments in automation, modernization, sustainability, and innovative new methods of manufacturing such as Flyknit ,it has been developing new technologies to promote the manufacturing business model. Thus following are the reasons that how they are fulfilling our demand in marketing:

DISTRIBUTION

Nike distributes its products on different level basis.Nike distribute the right product at the right time that  leads to high level of consumer’s satisfaction and loyalty.Nike is the first to the market with its e-commerce website. As it . launched its e-commerce site in April 1999 by offering 65 styles of sport shoes to the US market for purchasing (Nike, 2000).So automatically it is trying to give us better safisfaction by fulfilling our demands.

ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION

Nike makes contracts with some celebrity who are athletes which can draw attention to their products such as Tiger Woods, Ronaldo. By doing so ,the awareness for the brand can be easily created.Nike’s brand images, including the Nike’s name and the trademark are considered to represent one of the most recognizable brands in the world.

PRICE

Nike concentrates more on the customer's satisfaction rather than the price.. The customers who consider a product to be high quality and increasing their personality are likely to pay the high price more often and consistently.

MARKET SEGMENTATION AND TARGET

Nike typically target’s athletes, both women and men from the age 15 to 35. It increases the sponsership. All the products are trendy so as the customers like it.  By doing agreements between Nike and athletic teams, college’s athletic teams for products sponsorship and eventual promotion to the members ,Nike targets the customer's satisfaction according to their field of need.

ALLOW US TO DESIGN OUR OWN SHOES

Nike allows customers to design their own shoes from a catalogue of pre defined designs .Customers can choose their own colour and mascots to create shoes which defines their personality.

So,Nike has continues to remain at the top in producing and distributing their sports clothes and equipments. However, Nike should not allow the “sleep at the top” because of having heavy competitive pressure with the brands like ADIDAS and more.. So Nike should continuously find efficient marketing strategies to keep their top leaders positions.
