Gender is a socially constructed concept than a natural concept. To gender certain norms and values are attached, that is cultural meaning is attached to it. We see male and female, the biologically different people through the lens of gender that is man and woman. Gender is performed in the social context when men are attached to masculinity, that is they expected to have aggressive, robust and dominant manly behavior or qualities, while, women are attached to feminity, gentle, caring and submissive womanly behavior or traits.
