Early exposure to idealised images of women negatively affect the ability of boys to imagine or discover different intimate ways with the real women in the society. Due to the harmful affect of media getting sexualized images becomes easier & easily accessible.Giving more attention towards physical appearances creates appearance anxiety among girls which ultimately leads to negative mental health. The ways women portrayed in media are causing harm in the development of young girls as they are developing their identities in a wrong way. Reseach suggested that sexualization of young boys and girls are giving negative impact on society as a whole. Viewing of sexually explicit material can contribute to body dissatisfaction, eating disorders, low self-esteem & depression. Consumerism & globalization are the key reasons for promoting sexualization among young boys & girls.
