1.The political economy of the U.S has created poverty and inequality among people which has adverse effects on children leading them towards dropping from schools since parents cannot afford education and also child labour. Young children are working in jobs and occupations when they actually need to study but poverty has made them like this leading to affecting their growth as well. Social development of children is adversely effected.
2.More recent research has looked specifically at how cohabitation is related to delinquency. In general, studies find children who live in cohabitating households are much more likely to participate in juvenile delinquency compared to those in two-biological-parent households.
Adolescents in single-parent families were significantly more
delinquent than their counterparts residing with two biological,
married parents.A particularly important factor to delinquency may,
therefore, be the presence or absence
of a father figure in the household.
