From among the following list of Classical School theorists select the one that best reflects the woman identified by you as the best fit to the Classical Organizational School of Thought and explain why: Henry Fayol, Lilian Gilbreth, Fredrick Taylor Adam Smith, Henry Towne and Max Weber.
Frederick Taylor's theory of motivation assumes that employees or workers do not naturally enjoy work. The most important aspect to an employee's motivation is remuneration or pay. Thus, Taylor suggested that an employer must divide a task into smaller units. Smaller units must be assigned to each employee. Employees need closer supervision or in other words, they need to be micromanaged. The employees get paid for per unit or piece. The number of pieces completed is directly proportionate to the amount of money they earn. They would be motivated to earn more and will maximize their efforts leading to completion of tasks.
