North(Soviet backed) and South(U.S backed) Korea. During August
1945 Soviet Union entered in Korea in intention to seize the whole
peninsula. Korea was under the control of Japan since 1910.In order
to stop Soviet Union U.S send troops to South part of Korea.
Japanese army surrendered to both Soviet Union in North and U.S in
South.
In order to avoid long term conflict both nations divided the
peninsula by a temporary line known as 38th parallel line. In 1946
Kim 2 sung form communist party in North and after some time
another party was formed in South Korea by sygman Rhee.
In 1950,25 of June North Korea attacked at several point of South
Korea. In order to defend it U.S and fifteen other nation under the
UN command send their troops to Korea. Presence of America was like
police presence in peninsula.
