Frienship choices are both conscious as well as unconscious directives and choices.

Some people choose friendship and its aspects consciously because they become friends with those who match their thinking, ideology, expectations and rapport.

While other people make frienship or choose friendship with others just because of their some innate or intrinsic unconscious feelings such as fascination or attraction with some one special.
