A physician who is treating a patient with tumor in the amygdala does have to disclose the medical condition to the patient and the family members as it is the ethical part of treatment.As a doctor he understands that the tumor is likely to cause effects since its impression on the amygdala.This could have some biological implications which could happen or expect to happen in the future.The doctor at any point need not scare the patient or the family members on such advise.The mode of treatment can be discussed.The other facotrs can be subtly explained to the family members to take precaution.The most important effects of the tumor can be discussed initially.The patient and the family members are mostly worried about the mode of treatment and the outcome.That should be given preference at this point.
