List and briefly describe the 6 types rights identified in the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The United Nations General Assembly in 1948, came up with the
Universal Declaration of Human Rights which seeked to promote and
state the humanistic rights of each individual on the planet. Some
of these rights are:
1. Right to Equality
Every human that is born cannot be discriminated in any way. They
are all born equal and should be treated in a fair manner
throughout their life.
2.Freedom From Slavery
No individual can be "bought" or perform any actions considered as
slavery. There shall be no master-slave relation and cannot be
chained and bound.
3. Right to Marriage and Family
Every individual who has reached full age and is in a consentual
relationship is eligible to marry whomsoever they wish and start a
family with their better half.
4. Right to Freedom of Opinion and Expression
Individuals have the right to form an opinion and has the freedom
to express his opinion in a fair manner.
5.Right to Education
No individual shall be deprived of an opportunity to study and
obtain a standard education. They cannot be discriminated in any
form.
6.Freedom of Belief and Religion
Individuals have the liberty to follow any religion they choose to
be fit or not follow any at all. They have the freedom to believe
in their own faith.
