1. Resocialization is a process wherein an individuals personal rules and ethics, which include, but are not limited to: belief system, values, principles, though processes, are subjected through a change and are recalibrated as a result.

This generally tends to happen within a change of environment or social setting of the individual, for instance, a Childs displacement from the comfort of home and the affects of mollycoddling to the experiencing of an environment that is completely different such as, boarding school. It tends to shift the persons social perspective and their personal monologue.

2. Compliance, is one type wherein an individual in order to gain a standing within a particular group behaves in a certain manner as deemed important by the target group in order to gain access to the group. This can be seen happening in peer groups.

Normative conformity can be one factors that can be induced by peer pressure, wherein an individual is threatened by rejection and goes on to act and behave in a manner deemed worthy to gain entry.
