Answer #1

There are many social influences on gender. According to social role theory, almost all the everyday activities or interaction contributes to gender related roles. This includes family/ siblings, peers, teachers/education, mass media and other social platforms. Gender schema theory is a cognitive theory that explains how individuals become gendered in society. According to the view, gender-associated information is predominantly transmuted through society by way of schema, or networks of information that allow for some information to be more easily assimilated than others.
