Explain why someone cut you off in traffic in each of the following perspectives: Social-Cultural, Neuroscience, and Behaviorist

Homework Answers

Answer #1

The socio-cultural perspective would hold that someone may have cut us off from traffic because he/she maybe in a hurry. This view maybe held because Americans often cut others off in a traffic when they are in a hurry. From a neuroscience perspective, we may attribute this to an innate disposition towards impulsive behaviour causing an individual to experience difficulty while waiting for his/her turn in a traffic. Finally, a behaviourist would opine that an individual would cut us off from traffic because doing so may yield certain rewards for him/her such as saving time.
