Psychologically, it will affect their self-esteem, personality because they will lose their cool head, thought process as they will start thinking negatively. Socially, they will have limited friends because of their inability to move around and they will feel loneliness.
For the care takers, it would be a massive responsibility as they will have to help them almost all the time. This will consume most of their time and energy. They need to financially support them for the medical expenses. Some even go through lots of stressful and sleepless nights.
