Research the media system in china. State one way in which media ownership, laws, or practices are different in that country.
China is a communist country which owned the media for long time and even today many large media corporations in China are run by the government. This control has left little room for the private corporations to operate because of the control and limitations that the government lays on them. This would mean freedom of press is very much limited and the number of outside corporations and the type of news and media content they could produce. Thus, any media or news agency that operates in China would be censored before being aired especially the contents that are against the government.
