Answer #1

Answer.

Postmodernism in architecture led to the development of an architectural style away from the universalist and perfectionist view of Modernism to an architectural form which favored local and individual expressions of place-making. Another typical characteristic of postmodern buildings is the lurid neon lights, the mixed use of metal and concrete in angular shapes against the simplicity of the natural background, excessive signage and two-dimensional quality of the buildings which present an appropriate design response to the context.

To this end, Frank Gehry‘s Guggenheim Museum building in Bilbao, Spain, 1997, is one of the most well-known living postmodernist architecture with its unusual fabricated shapes that defy the rational of Modernist claims to perfection in nature in a new way, and instead inscribes an experience of balance and calmness in the deforming the skin of the building with non-rectilinear metallic forms.

Problem Domain: We are a software development startup whose market has been to provide logistics for restaurants (ordering, table reservation, user reviews, order-ahead etc.) That was all pre-covid. Now with only 25% max capacity at restaurants, more ordering of remote services, the lack of a social dining/shopping experience for the most part, we need to adapt a solution to this area. Most of our customers (restaurants and food services) cannot sustain themselves or need help. We clearly are not a...

The one-sample z-test for proportions determines the p-value using the “normal approximationmethod”. (Note that in class we talked about the two-sample z-test for proportions, but the ideas are similar for the one sample case). This method approximates the exact p-value that would have been found if the binomial formula were used. But, the “normal approximation method” only works well when the sample size is “large enough”. Write a paragraph that discusses the following: Why is the one-sample z-test for proportions...
