Answer #1

The disability act of 1990 became an important policy to the needs of people with mobility disability. This law prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities in all dimensions like jobs, transportation, schools, public places etc. With the introduction of the law, it was made mandatory that people with a disability also should be treated as everyone, and that equal opportunity should prevail. Commencement of the law saw an increase in job opportunities for the disabled. Also, places, where they were prohibited, were also open to them. In this manner, people with mobility disability were given more rights and also were treated as equal to the normal people.
