Reflect on your identities. With which identities do you identify and how do they intersect to impact your lived experience, both past and present? Examine your positioning in society from the privileges and disadvantages (such as being the recipient of bias) each of the following identities affords you. What values and beliefs do you hold, as a result of your identities, including cultural? Identify several areas (as listed above and described in the course) that stand out to you as especially significant and/or interesting in your own personal and/or professional life. Identify your beliefs and/or behaviors on those areas.
Reflect on the development of your identities over time. You may choose to explore your childhood, adolescent, and/or adulthood development, in the context of your family of origin and later relationships.
Part II: Impact on Professional Interactions (1–2 pages)
In light of Part I, assess how your experiences, values, beliefs, and behaviors (expressions of your cultural perspectives) influence your professional interactions with young children and families, communities, and colleagues. Think about the cultural aspects you’ve discussed in Part I and critically analyze how they impact your professional sphere. Address strengths and challenges in communicating across differences, including culture bumps you may have encountered.

Culture's surrounding influence the expectancy of people living within it.
Organizational culture contains values, belief and assumptions that are shared by the working people of the organization. It tells them how to act in the organization. It affects and influenced the people by dictating to them with the shared beliefs and values, It tells them how to dress, act, and do their tasks. It also gives them guidelines for the members.
Examples of organizational cultures:
• Publix helps employees by giving them opportunity and ownership.
• Southwest Airlines prefers people with work oriented and fun loving mind-sets.
B. Cultural believes and ethics influence the people in profession, colleges, business, and in society.
Due to cultural diversity people of different cultures holds different beliefs.Hence,they play an important role to strengthen the democracy and cultural diversity.
It is important to understand the cultural perception of people of different culture. In order to understand it, VOM or value-oriented method gives a process to understand the basic cultural difference that is related to 5 different human orientations. It is used in the situation of cross-cross-cultural meetings.
Because it not only form the structure of society but also make the perception of people about sexual behaviour and orientation, life, death, illness, health, diseases, quality of life, approach to the diagnosis and treatment etc.
It affects any society by influencing cultural beliefs and norms. Due to cultural surrounding food, clothing, living, behaviour etc of people are decided.
Hence, its impacts are vast in any society.
