The disabled population is already living in a great disadvantaged status in the society. They almost live a secluded life where most of the disabled people stay alone for most of the time. This leaves them vulnerable to sexual predators, thieves and manipulators. Although there are many social welfare schemes available and laws to protect the disabled people, the society hasn’t still started treating them as normal people thus alienating and separating them from the mainstream society which adds to their disadvantage.

Firstly, there is no one to immediately attend to the woes of the disabled population thus most of the time they go through their psychological and physical hardship on their own. Secondly, they would lose whatever they had with them and there are very less compensatory, counselling and conflict resolution programmes available for them. Especially for people who are blind and deaf.
